Deebeaux's VW TDI 02M/02J/02Q Gearspeed Comparator

This should give you a decent idea of the speed of your vehicle at the given RPM in various transmissions. Keep in mind this is not an exact number as there is no way to compensate for difference in manufactuering tolerances, tire wear, varying amounts of air in the tire, etc... All those things will change the size of the tire which will NOT be calculated here. This is just an approximation, but it should be close. If you find a number that looks way wacky or out of spec, let me know and I'll look into it. Enjoy!

Calculate gear speed starting at 8000 7000 6000 5000 rpm and count down in 1000 500 200 rpm increments.
